Cebu City Tour with Afternoon Tea at 5-star hotel
We will visit "Magellan's Cross", the cross that Magellan erected for the first "baptismal ceremony" in the Philippines. The cross is located in an octagonal building, and the ceiling vividly depicts the baptismal ceremony of the time. We will also visit "Santo Niño Church", the oldest church in Cebu. It is decorated with a statue of Christ as a child, "Santo Niño," which Magellan presented to the then Queen of Cebu. This statue is revered by Filipinos as a "miracle statue". We will also stop by "Fort San Pedro", which was built to protect the port of Cebu from the pirates of the time. The walls of this fortress are not made of concrete, but a mixture of coral and lime. If you look closely, you can see small shells painted on the walls. Afterwards, we will take you to the "Cebu Heritage Monument". It is a large sculpture of the landing and reign of the Spanish and the era of American rule. After the city tour, we will take you to afternoon tea at a luxury hotel. Enjoy cakes, sandwiches, scones, and other delicacies on a special stand that can hold three tiers of plates. You can also choose from more than 20 types of tea.
